As Deliveroo's most mature market globally, our regional teams drive performance across the UK & Ireland, from Brighton to Bangor, Bolton to Belfast - and beyond! We're now looking to add to our team of specialists across Manchester and Birmingham with the addition of Market Activation Associates.

With multiple roles on offer, we're looking for a diverse team of talented and commercially aware individuals to capitalise on one of the biggest growth opportunities available to Deliveroo. A growth opportunity not just for us, but one for you too!

Role:

  • Map prospective partners, pitching Deliveroo's unique value proposition and close this business - finding and signing restaurants and stores consumers love!
  • Through onsite visits, emailing, calling and social channels, demonstrate Deliveroo's offering and ensure we remain front of mind
  • Build a personal brand and identity within your target city as the restaurant industry expert - building trust, and a referral network as part of your plan to win business
  • Oversee the restaurant onboarding process, ensuring it is quick, efficient and seamless
  • Support Account Managers to ensure partner success during the period post-signing
  • Support guerrilla marketing initiatives, e.g. "Painting the Town Teal" and Customer Door Drops

Requirements:

  • Ideally educated to degree level
  • Confident, with strong commercial acumen and excellent communication and influencing skills - in order to structure mutually beneficial deals for Restaurant Partners and Deliveroo alike
  • A full UK driving licence, with access to a vehicle
  • The ability to expertly articulate product and industry knowledge to prospects and clients
  • Capable working independently and proactively, comfortable in a target-driven environment
  • Ambitious and determined
  • Beneficial: Fluency in another language, including but not limited to the following - Mandarin, Korean, Thai, Arabic, Vietnamese, Malay, Japanese, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi
